Nanotechnology is one of the key technologies of the 21st century. Products in all areas of life can be made to perform better and be more energy efficient and environmentally friendly with the help of this technology. Carbon nanotubes (CNT), a relatively new product which has emerged from materials research, also have this potential. The development of products and applications involving CNTs has only just begun. Our new synthesis process makes us one of the few manufacturers able to offer commercially viable quantities of CNTs with a constant and reproducible quality. This enables our Baytubes® to be used industrially on a broad scale.
They have enormous potential in applications which are so varied that they are almost endless. We are engaged in strategic collaboration projects with international high-tech companies and academic research bodies in order to drive the development of applications for Baytubes® to an industrial scale. We integrate the results and experience gained from this collaboration into the project work that we carry out with our customers. We also have extensive expertise with polymers which allows us to help you integrate Baytubes® into various plastics. Here, too, we cooperate with specialized compounders and formulators.
