Dispersion – Low Viscosity Material

Baytubes^® Aqueous Dispersions give access to very well separated carbon nanotubes. This is a prerequisite to exploit the electrical conductivity properties in water-based systems.

Applications areas are for example:

Surface heating for automotive
(seat or trim heating)
Panel heating in construction
(floor, wall or object heating)
Antistatic coatings
EMI shielding
Battery electrodes

Baytubes^® Aqueous Dispersions contain 5 wt% Carbon Nanotubes and 5 wt% dispersing agent. They are available with various anionic or non-ionic dispersing agents.

Baytubes^® D W 55 CM	CMC	(Carboxymethylcellulose)
Baytubes^® D W 55 PS	PSSNa	(Poly(sodium 4-styrenesulfonate))

Further dispersions in organic media are under development, e.g. for battery applications.
